TLAP World Africa Day

On May 25th, we celebrated World Africa Day. As a school, we pride ourselves on our diverse family. It was such a heart warming moment to see so many children joining in, wearing bright colours, prints and other cultural clothes. The school had a real buzz as the children learned many facts about the continent of Africa. The day totally reflected our TLAP values. We were really impressed with Mrs Van Huffel, joining in the events from South Africa. I would like to extend my thanks to Mrs Abdi in coordinating the days’ events, including the lunchtime dancing. Once again, many thanks for supporting this day, I know that the success of the day was beyond Kianna’s original aim.
