TLAP Year One and Two Highlights

This week has been busy and creative for the children in Year 1! They completed the second part of their art hot task, where they painted their clay fruit sculptures, showcasing their artistic skills. In their Talk 4 Writing cold task, they built impressive bridges and are now exploring the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. In RE, they’ve begun a new topic focusing on the Easter story and de-signed beautiful Easter cards. In computing, they started learning how to create their very own e-books. It’s been a week full of learning and creativity!

To introduce the new story, Dolphin Boy by Michael Morpurgo, the children in Year 2 followed a set of instructions to draw a picture of a dolphin. These pictures were put together to make a year group mural.
