Arunima Trophy

Arunima was a little girl that attended Langley Heritage when it was known as Parlaunt Park Primary School.

Arunima's personality was as bright and sparkly as the dresses and flowers she wore.

Arunima loved everything about school life, she came into school with a smile on her face every day; she loved learning new things and even enjoyed tests!

Very sadly Arunima died when she was in year 4. We remember Arunima every year by presenting the children with the highest marks in English and Maths tests the Arunima Memorial Trophy.

This year marks 11 years of the Arunima Trophy are the winners are:

  • Maths : Sana M
  • English : Justin A

Rocksteady

Tommy from Rocksteady visited the school in June and July. He demonstrated the different instruments that make up a rock band.

He returned in July to select children at random to play the instruments and show how Rocksteady lessons run. Rocksteady is joining the school from September. There are still a few places remaining. If you would like to sign up your child for a spot, please contact : 0330 113 0330 or sign up at rocksteadymusicschool.com

The Heritage Harmonies

The Heritage Harmonies performed at St Mary's Church Slough on the 13th of July as part of the Slough Summer Singing Showcase and they brought the house down! It was a tremendous opportunity to show off all of their hard work from the last two years. They performed two songs : Beatles Medley and Message. The children received huge praise from other choir's and members of the community. Well done to all the children involved. Thank you to all the Year 6's who are leaving us. You have shown amazing commitment and dedication and we will miss you next year.
