Initial Teacher Training at The Langley Academy Trust

The Langley Academy Trust is committed to developing and progressing educators at all levels.  We have dedicated staff that can support you in becoming an outstanding teacher.

We provide an extensive programme for all staff through the Professional Education Programme, The Twilight Inset Programme and innovative inset whilst providing experienced mentors who will support and coach you through your training.

In addition to our Trust training programmes we have excellent partnerships with Slough Schools, The Slough Learning Partnership, Slough Training Partnership, Brunel University , Reading University, The Institute of Education and numerous other institutions who offer additional training  and alternative routes in to teaching such as: Assessment only, Schools Direct, PGCE, and the Return to Teaching initiative.

If you are thinking about getting in to teaching we also have support staff/volunteer roles that can provide you with the experience and knowledge to help you gain a graduate or post graduate placement at a university, Teach First or Schools Direct.

The Trust prides itself in the development of staff, many middle and senior leaders started their careers as trainees or support staff in The Langley Academy Trust and have seen a rapid progression in their careers whilst being supported and coached through every stage.
